Mark Huis in 't Veld is a trainer, speaker and event host. He is also known as *That Guy in Blue*. Through his company, Presenters Lab, he helps entrepreneurs, professionals and teams speak and present with greater confidence, enjoyment and impact. At the age of sixteen, Mark delivered his first training session to a group of adults. At nineteen, he started his own business in the world of football. As a trainer, coach and speaker, he travelled the world and worked in more than 25 countries. One question kept coming back to him: how do you make sure your story really stays with people? That experience is the foundation of his approach. Mark works with E·V·A: Enthusiasm, Connection and Authenticity. He believes that speaking and presenting are skills anyone can develop. Not by learning tricks, but by daring to give it a go, taking action and, above all, staying true to yourself. As a speaker, Mark takes his audience into the world of communication, presenting and human behaviour. In his talk 'Perfection is overrated', he shows why the urge to get things right can sometimes hold us back. Along the way, he draws surprising connections between the worlds of football, business and the stage. His sessions are energetic, personal and, above all, highly interactive. They are not talks you simply sit and listen to, but experiences where the audience gets involved, laughs, makes discoveries and, above all, recognises a lot of themselves. Because, according to Mark, impact starts not with perfection, but with connection.
