Tamara Markus

Tamara Markus is an event chair, moderator, presenter and discussion leader. She works in Dutch and English. She enjoys exploring a wide range of topics, from AI and construction to healthcare and defence. Tamara handles the preparation herself. She likes to be involved in an event at an early stage and contribute ideas on the programme structure, speakers and panellists. Beforehand, she likes to speak to panellists and interviewees by phone or online. On stage, she keeps the discussion on track and to time. She introduces speakers, guides conversations and engages the audience. She also makes room for different points of view. Tamara has been performing professionally on stage since she was sixteen. She first worked as a dancer for thirteen years, then as an actor and presenter. Behind the scenes, she worked as a producer and editor, including for No Pictures Please and Scenarios4. She also earned her NIMA A and B diplomas in communication and marketing communications.
