Jan Bellemakers

Jan brings people and subjects together. He describes himself as an enthusiastic and inquisitive connector. He draws on his experience to help local authorities, organisations and associations move forward. His talent could be summed up as being a “quick connector”. Jan can bring people and subjects together because people often feel at ease with him very quickly. He manages to connect people in a way that is flexible enough to allow for different directions, while always keeping things moving ‘forwards’. Jan facilitates sessions on challenges, programmes, and organisational and team development. He has trained in programme management, process facilitation and creative thinking and brainstorming techniques. He also has experience with LEGO and visual tools. Most of his experience is in government and the world of sport. He also has extensive experience organising and facilitating away days and events, and chairing the day. Jan also has more than twenty-five years’ experience with sports associations and other volunteer organisations. He is keen to help associations develop their vision and govern well. Sharing knowledge and guiding others in their development are central to his work.
